Rebecca Ann Tess, born in 1980, studied art at the Städelschule, Frankfurt, the Chelsea College of Art and Design, London and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She lives in Frankfurt. Exhibitions a.o. at ZKM, Karlsruhe and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul. Since 2010 solo exhibitions at Nassauischer Kunstverein, Wiesbaden; Lampione, Frankfurt; Figge von Rosen Galerie, Cologne/Berlin.

In Home Time Show Time we see a couple of friends watching TV, channel-hopping through different daily soaps. The living room is then transformed into the studio of a fictionial talkshow which is simultaneously running on the living room TV set. Both settings blend increasingly until the talkshow host finally enters, revealing the setting as a reality show.
