The KINO DER KUNST Project Award, endowed in the amount of \u20ac5,000, helps young European artists and filmmakers to produce a new single- or multi-channel work that goes beyond the boundaries of the traditional narrative film and tests new modes of storytelling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Eight candidates have been invited to Munich to pitch their project to an international jury, headed by Bj\u00f8rn Melhus,<\/strong> artist and professor at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. Further members of the jury are Markus Hannebauer<\/strong>, software entrepreneur, Director of the Fluentum Collection and member of the KINO DER KUNST Advisory Board; Emilija S\u030ckarnulyte<\/strong>, artist and winner of the last Project Award; Julian Rosefeldt<\/strong>, artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and member of the KINO DER KUNST Advisory Board; and Daniel Lang<\/strong>, filmmaker and representative of the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

All of the participants will receive a professional pitch training in Munich, and an existing film by each artist will also be presented online.
